When I was about 11 years old I was going back for an evening to my friends James house. I remember that school had been a pretty average day however James was excited because his dad was coming to pick us up in his new car.

When I look at the milometer on my car, it tells me exactly how far I have driven it in the course of its life, or since I last zeroed it after putting petrol in. But I can’t turn my mouse over and see how many inches it’s moved since I bought it.
That said, I know how much I use my mouse on a day to day basis and I dare say it’s travelled a fair few miles.
